Before you read, make sure you understand the abbreviations that may be mentioned. ------------------------- IC - In Character OOC - Out Of Character MG - Metagame - Using OOC information ICly PG - Powergame - Forcing RP upon another player RDM/VDM - Random Deathmatch/Vehicle Deathmatch PK - Player Kill, you died and have respawned PM - Private Message ------------------------- Roleplay at all times If you can not go somewhere RPly, don't go there You may steal PD/EMS vehicles from a situation if they are left running Do not hack, cheat, or exploit bugs on our server - this is a banable offense, and in most instances does not carry a warning, only a ban Do not RDM, or VDM - you may instigate a fight with another character, as long as it is done IC Revenge killing is not allowed - if you die, you may not go back and kill the person that killed you simply because you died If you are PKed, your IC memory is wiped for the 30 minutes prior to your death (This does not count if you are revived) This is an English server, if you are going to use another language, please do so privately Mixing is not allowed - this is mixing both IC and OOC information Do not be disrespectful/rude towards others OOC, IC encounters/disputes are their fair game Insulting the staff team will lead to punishment, and is not allowed in any regard If you are punished by a admin, please handle it appropriately Metagaming is not allowed - If you want to know something IC, figure it out from IC actions. Do NOT private message players about locations and other information that can be found out from IC. Powergaming is not allowed - Give the players some time to react in roleplay, If you fail to give others time to react and act like superman or act unrealisticly and just play to win, you will be punished. Give everybody a chance! Rape roleplay is explicitly not allowed Pedophilia roleplay is explicitly not allowed IC scamming is allowed, however, it is not allowed in the following scenarios You may not scam vehicle sales You may not scam anything financially above $50,000 - if it is below this amount, please handle it ICly Logging to avoid a situation is not allowed Going out of your way to provoke police is not allowed Alt-Alt is not allowed - this is when you transfer stats from one character to another Drive realistic - we know it's fun to go 160 MPH throughout every road, but please do not do this 24/7 You may not exchange real life dollars to other players for goods - all currency available In-Game is all that may be used for In-Game goods Your character can not have the same name as a celebrity You can not roleplay a famous person that is famous in real life Guns can not be used as a first resort - if someone instigates violence, you may result to using a firearm, but don't pull out a gun because someone called you a certain term In-Game advertisements must be RP and can not be obvious about illegal things (such as guns/drug sales) When stealing a car, the car owner is not required to actually transfer the vehicle to your ownership You may not roleplay as mentally incompetent Realtors - No double interiors! Only one interior per exterior, and a house with an actual opening door (IE Michaels house) can not have an interior added to it You must have a reason to evade police Do not spam /ooc, it may lead to punishment Value of Life Principle; making a conscious decision that will possibly endanger lives (including yours) must be considered, act as you would in real life when IC, your life is not disposable IC, so do not act like it Community Rules/Standards These rules are carried through all three platforms: Discord, Forums, and In-Game No racism No sexism No political propaganda Personal/OOC disputes must be taken privately (IE Forum/Discord PM) No hate speech No "shit posting" unless you're posting in the meme channel on Discord Forum Rules No advertising other servers No OOC insulting Buying/Selling/Trading must be done in the proper forum Spamming will lead to a forum ban Jumpscares/Screamer links may lead to a forum ban No hate groups Speaking negatively of the server is not allowed (this is very different than constructive criticism) Discord No advertising other servers No insulting Spamming will lead to a Discord ban Jumpscares/Screamer links may lead to a Discord ban No hate speech Speaking negatively of the server is not allowed (this is very different than constructive criticism) Private Discord Voice channels are not an approved form of IC Communication, unless it is on an IC Voice Channel in Discord. (It can be approved gang discord channels, as long as it is a designated IC Voice Channel. These rules will be updated from time to time, if they are updated, a comment will be posted.
